Shorts are permitted during warmer weather. These MUST be plain navy shorts and worn to the knee/ just above the knee.
FYI: O'Neills GAA shorts or NIke PRO cycling shorts are NOT allowed.

The School Uniform Policy has recently been updated and is available on our website.
The updated policy will be fully implemented from Term 1, so it is important that all families familiarise themselves with the requirements before making any uniform purchases.
If your child has sensory needs or requires an alternative uniform arrangement, please contact the principal to discuss appropriate accommodations.

Key Notes:
All pupils are expected to wear the correct uniform every school day unless otherwise notified by the school.
School Uniform
Navy trousers, plain navy tracksuit bottoms, navy skirt or pinafore (knee length).
Plain navy shorts (knee length or just above).
Blue V-neck or round-neck jumper/cardigan (school crest desirable but not compulsory).
White shirt or polo shirt.
Navy or black shoes/runners.
Leggings may only be worn on PE days.
PE Uniform
On designated PE days, pupils may wear:
Plain navy tracksuit bottoms or leggings (no stripes or large logos).
Navy shorts (knee length or just above).
Blue round-neck sweater.
White polo shirt.
Suitable runners for physical activity. (Colour optional)
PE days will be allocated at the start of each term.
The following are not suitable for PE:
Canvas-style runners (e.g. Converse).
Crocs.
Ugg boots.
This policy will be reviewed after 1 year.
If a child does not wear the correct uniform:
Parents should send a note via Aladdin to the class teacher explaining the reason.
Pupils without the correct uniform and without a note will receive a Level One warning under the Code of Behaviour.
Hair and Appearance
Hair should be neat, clean and long hair should be tied back, where possible.
Extreme hairstyles or hair colours are not permitted.
Make-up (including foundation, mascara, eyeliner and blusher) is not allowed and pupils will be asked to remove it.
Jewellery and Accessories
Only stud earrings and a watch are permitted.
Long earrings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets and rings are not allowed for health and safety reasons.
False nails are not permitted.
Inappropriate jewellery may be confiscated.
Additional Information
All uniform items should be clearly labelled with the child's name.
Staff will monitor uniforms as part of the daily school routine.
Failure to Follow the Uniform Policy
Where pupils repeatedly fail to comply:
A Level One sanction may be issued initially. It may then move to Level 2, Level 3 etc.
Uniform items may be provided from the school's uniform bank.
Parents may be asked to bring the correct uniform to school.
In ongoing cases, parents may be asked to collect their child until they are appropriately dressed according to the school uniform policy.
