There has been a Parents’ Association in Scoil Sheosaimh Naofa Ballinagar since the early 1990s. The Parents’ Association is an important cornerstone in the education process. They work in partnership with the Board of Management, the Principal and the teaching staff of the school to ensure that the children attending the school get the best that primary education can offer.
Member of the present Parents’ Association are:
Aidan Minnock, Chairperson
Fiona Doohan, Secretary
Our Parents’ Association (PA) plays an important role in supporting school activities and helping ensure every child enjoys a well-rounded experience in our school. Unfortunately, not all classes are currently represented and we’d love to change that!
The Parents’ Association supports the school by helping with activities, building community spirit and sharing parents’ views.
Being part of the PA doesn’t require a big time commitment.
Meetings usually take place once per term and last about an hour.
It’s a great way to meet other parents, share ideas and make a positive difference in our school community.
We strongly encourage parents to get involved to see what it’s all about.
